ADVISOR PROGRAM SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Program

The Advisor Program at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) is the critical program that underlies and supports nearly all of the EC’s programmatic offerings for entrepreneurs. This critical program supports entrepreneurs across industries and stages of development by meaningfully connecting them to an elite community of experienced business leaders who have been selected and trained as advisors. We are excited to prepare to grow this experience, both in the quantity of people we serve and the quality of the experiences that we provide them, and are looking to add a team member to help us take the Advisor Program to the next level.

The Advisor Program Specialist Role

The Advisor Program Specialist will work with the existing team to support the operations and continuous development of the Advisor Program, will report directly to the EC’s Vice President of Entrepreneurial Development, and will be responsible for both the day-to-day activities and for assisting with the long term strategic planning of the program. The Advisor Program Specialist will need to be comfortable working with both a wide array of entrepreneurs and a wide array of established business leaders in the Nashville community and surrounding area. 

The Responsibilities (included but not limited to…)

  • Timely, concise communication with stakeholders (entrepreneurs, advisors, staff)
  • Nourishment of long term relationships with stakeholders
  • Organizing and distributing information in an efficient manner
  • Recruiting, assessing and training possible Advisor candidates
  • Curating entrepreneurial candidates, analyzing data and planning intentional, meaningful engagements

This individual will need to possess the ability to manage several different operational components simultaneously and assist in strategic decision-making. The candidate should be a self-motivated, strong communicator with a team-centric mindset and an eagerness to learn.
