Intern Role: Events & Hospitality Intern
Hours:  
Spring 2017, Fall 2017: 5 hrs/week (flexible if need more hours for internship requirements, Prefer Monday and Friday 8am -12pm. Schedule flexible to include more hours as needed.)
Summer 2017:   30-40 hrs/week
Compensation: 
Spring 2017, Fall 2017:  Credit or Volunteer
Summer 2017:  Paid via LaunchTN Specialist Program
Education Requirement:  Undergraduate Junior, Senior or higher, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Event Planning or a similar major
Supervisor:  Community Director

DESCRIPTION:
The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) is built by the Nashville community for the community.  The EC hosts over 10,000 individuals each year at various community, sponsor and partner events.  The Events and Hospitality Intern will be responsible for supporting a quality event experience for EC members, the community and guests.  The intern will handle pre-event planning, setup and event execution.  Additionally, he/she will act as a liaison between the host organization and the EC.

Additional Skills Needed:
- Tech enabled (think microphones & projectors)
- Event planning experience is helpful
- Personable with an attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial minded
