Intern Role: Investor Research Intern
Hours:  
Spring 2017, Fall 2017:  15-20 hrs/week (flexible if need more hours for internship requirements)
Summer 2017:   30-40 hrs/week

Compensation:
Spring 2017, Fall 2017:  Credit or Volunteer
Summer 2017:  Paid via LaunchTN Specialist Program
Education Requirement:  Undergraduate Junior or Senior or higher, Entrepreneurship or related major preferred
Supervisor:  Alumni Relations Entrepreneur In Residence 

DESCRIPTION:
The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) provides follow on support to its alumni from programs such as PreFlight, Project Music, and Project Healthcare.  The Investor Research Intern will be responsible for doing research reports on startup companies, industries and funding trends utilizing 3rd party databases combined with in house data on our existing alumni.  Will also be responsible for executing projects which assist our alumni as they grow and scale their companies.

 Additional Skills Needed:
- Comfortable with learning new software quickly
- Able to interview people to obtain key information
- Experience in extensive research
- Attention to detail
