Sam Lingo, recently named EC President, is a Nashville entrepreneur specializing in the development of new technologies. Sam leads operations, finance, business development and serves as Chairman of the EC’s Associate Board, Advance Nashville. Sam is a Nashville native who has been recognized as a Top 30 Under 30 and one of Nashville’s Emerging Leaders. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University in 2005. He served as a founding partner and Chief Manager of U. S. Cryogenics, LLC, a solution-focused company extending the usable life of industrial wear parts, from 2004-2010. Sam lectures about entrepreneurism and adapting business plans to the real world at both Vanderbilt University and the Owen Graduate School of Management. He is passionate about connecting innovative ideas to the resources necessary to create scalable and impactful businesses for Nashville’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
