BRYNN PLUMMER

Q. DID YOU KNOW?...

A. I have over 30 plants in my home, including this Selenicereus anthonyanus, or better known as a fishbone or zig-zag cactus ;-). I also love all things mid-century, especially kitschy housewares, like these mini yard flamingos I picked up at Pre-to-Post Modern here in town.

Q. IF YOU COULD HAVE BEEN THE FOUNDER OF ANY COMPANY WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

A.  Fenty Beauty, Rihanna's makeup company. The brand has catered to a widely underserved market, launching with 40 shades of foundation, twice what most foundation lines offer in their first launch. Q. WHAT ARE 3 THINGS YOU WOULD TAKE WITH YOU ON A DESERTED ISLAND AND WHY?

A. For personal care: lip balm (I have a hunch that the sun and sand would be pretty drying)
For company: my siblings + my husband
For stimulation: endless library of podcasts and audiobooks

Q. WHAT SONG WOULD YOU SING AT KARAOKE NIGHT?

A. Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness." It follows my three rules of a great karaoke song (under the 3 minute and 30 second mark, dramatic build to the emotional climax of the song and at least 20 years old), AND Otis Redding is an American treasure.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE EC MOMENT?

A. The women of the Entrepreneur Center get together every few months for a women's dinner, and the first one I attended was at Gradi's BEAUTIFUL home before I was even on staff. We ate, talked, played table topics and just generally got to spend time with one another. It was such a welcoming, warm and fun night, and it really highlights what's so special about working at the E
