Position: Program Coordinator
Status: Full Time, Exempt
Reports To: CPO/COO
The EC helps entrepreneurs create, launch, and grow businesses through a variety of programs, including, but not limited to, our Navigation, Community Membership, and High-Touch Programs. An EC Program Coordinator works with the full product team to support mission delivery across all program areas.
Navigation: The EC’s Navigation Program connects any entrepreneur to the best-fitting resources for their needs, whether or not one of those resources is ultimately the EC. An EC Program Coordinator is responsible for intaking requests from entrepreneurs, determining the best-fitting resource for their needs, connecting entrepreneurs to those resources, collecting feedback and data on the process and making recommendations on how to improve.
Community Memberships: The EC’s Community Memberships provide entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurially-minded a community experience that helps them drive their businesses forward. An EC Program Coordinator is responsible for caring for that community experience and community members by engaging in such activities as onboarding members, responding to member inquiries, forging relationships with members, coordinating member events and services, communicating with members, collecting member feedback and data and making recommendations on how to improve.
High Touch Programs: The EC’s High Touch Programs make intensive use of the Advisor Program to actively engage with entrepreneurs in the process of creating, launching, and growing their businesses. The EC’s Advisor Program is the core resource through which the EC supports significantly growth-oriented entrepreneurs. The Advisor Program recruits, cares for, and tactically deploys a network of more than 200 of Nashville’s leading entrepreneurs, business people, and experts to accelerate the progress of dozens of entrepreneurs at a time. The EC’s Advisor Program supports such programs as Project Music, Project Healthcare, InFlight, PreFlight, Corporate Innovation, and others. The EC Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting operations in these programs, tracking entrepreneur and advisor needs, and collecting feedback and data and making recommendations on how to improve.
Program Coordinators work closely with a variety of different audiences across industries and backgrounds, and need to be able to communicate effectively with all of them. A Program Coordinator may work with an entrepreneur, an investor, and a government official in the same day. In this role, proficiency in Spanish would be considered an additional plus, though it is not required and we encourage all interested parties to apply.
An EC Program Coordinator is uniquely positioned to develop a deep understanding of and meaningful experience in the entrepreneurial process and all of the different ways we support entrepreneurs. We are currently in the progress of drastically growing the scale of our impact and this is a very exciting time for a Program Coordinator to join our team.
The Program Coordinator will work as key member of the Product team, will report directly to the CPO/COO, and work under the daily guidance of Program Leads. The Program Coordinator will work cross-functionally with fellow team members inside and outside of the Product Department to identify and execute ways the EC’s programs can add more value to more entrepreneurs and drive the EC towards fulfilling its mission.
Responsibilities and Qualifications (included but are not limited to):
Operational Conductor: The Program Coordinator will be responsible for connecting the right entrepreneurs with the right resources at the right times with the right information. A great Program Coordinator is naturally organized and timely, and runs an operation that is consistent, organized and timely too.
Insight Collector: The Program Coordinator will be responsible for collecting, inputting, and analyzing feedback from advisors, entrepreneurs, members, and partners to help us manage and improve the program. A great Program Coordinator can handle inputting significant quantities of data, converting the data into insights, and making recommendations based on those insights.
Customer Experience Champion: The Program Coordinator will be a significant point of contact for many of the advisors, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders we serve. A great Program Coordinator understands and prioritizes our customers’ needs; communicates effectively and empathetically in all of these interactions—over email, on the phone, and in person; and leaves customers excited to engage with EC programs.
Awesome Team Member: The Program Coordinator is on the front-line in one of our most mission-critical product lines that touches all the different areas of our organization. A great Program Coordinator will excel as a team member, helping the rest of the team find and capitalize on synergies, grow and excel in our performance, and reach our collective goals.
Future Leader: While much of the Program Coordinator’s responsibilities are tactical and administrative, they also enable the Program Coordinator to provide unique strategic insights and organizational leadership as part of the role. Additionally, as we continue to scale our impact, the Program Coordinator role will emphasize more strategy and more leadership.
This is a critical, entry-level role at our organization, ready for a passionate team member excited to make a significant impact in a mission that matters. If you’re that person, we’d love to talk to you about your experience. While we value work-experience and experience in the entrepreneurial landscape, neither is required. We do work with various productivity and project management software products, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Apple Keynote, and Google Apps.
This is a full-time exempt position and based in Nashville, TN.
Salary range will be communicated during interview process.
Comprehensive benefits package, including medical and life insurance with dental, vision and disability options. Plus a 401(k) matching option.
