“Britville” to imprint on Nashville!

“Britville” is visiting Nashville
Nashville will double as “Britville” this coming week when a team from the British Consulate-General in Atlanta and UK Trade & Investment moves its operations to the Music City for four days beginning October 21.
Led by British Consul General Jeremy Pilmore-Bedford, the Brits will highlight the science, health, and technology sectors as well as the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).
Tennessee is home to 107 companies based in the United Kingdom, companies that provide more than 12,000 Tennesseans with employment.
Highlights of the week include:
- Professor Jonathan Kay, the newly appointed Clinical Informatics Director for the UK?s National Health Service, will deliver a lunchtime speech centered on how the NHS is using technology to drive efficiencies while remaining firmly focused on improving health outcomes. Scheduled for11:30 a.m. on October 21 at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, the event is being sponsored by the Nashville Health Care Council and UK Trade & Investment.
