Healthbox Nashville companies ready for graduation
Healthbox, the health tech business accelerator that launched its inaugural Nashville program in September, is readying for innovation day. The seven companies going through the program will pitch to investors next week at the Music City Center.
Of the seven, five companies are from Nashville. Joanna Rogerson, one of the entrepreneurs not based locally, will head home to Raleigh after the program ends, but found Nashville lived up to its health care hype.
“A lot of the big [contract research organizations] are in the Raleigh area, which is incredible, but that’s nothing like the scope of HCA being in your back yard,” she said.
