NASHVILLE — About 60 Springfield officials will return to Missouri today after spending two days gleaning ideas and business concepts from Nashville, Tenn.
The delegation, led by the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, spent two days in Nashville, looking at how the city’s track record in health care and business development could be applied in southwest Missouri.
“This has been the biggest trip we’ve ever had,” said Brian Fogle, chairman of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and president of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
“A lot of people wanted to come and see how things happen here.”
