ABC Announces New Intensive Training for Artists

A new six-week intensive training opportunity that empowers working artists to see their vision through an entrepreneurial lens. Hosted at the Entrepreneur Center (EC), Periscope gives artists perspective and tools to organize, plan, and sustain their creative careers through one-hour lectures with John Murdock, Director of Education at the EC, and break-out groups facilitated by top Nashville arts professionals. The program is designed to be a transformative experience for each artist sparking the moment when their career will really start to take off. Periscope’s provides:
- Training: Cumulative professional development training for working artists
- Exchange: Sharing best practices with interdisciplinary peers through small group work
- Mentorship: Access point to entrepreneurship resources and mentors
- Exposure: Opportunities to celebrate and highlight the work of alumni artists
The experience is limited to 25 artists, artisans, makers and creative entrepreneurs of all genres from Nashville and its surrounding counties. Interested artists must complete the application by February 24.
