Michael Burcham, the Kiwanis Club’s 2013 Nashvillian of the Year, will be honored at a luncheon on Friday.
Burcham, president and chief executive officer of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, received the honor for his work on behalf of the Entrepreneur Center, which pairs company founders with entrepreneurs.
Event co-founder George H. Armistead III praised Burcham for how his work has benefited Nashville entrepreneurs and the city as a whole.
“What Michael has pioneered and championed via the Nashville Entrepreneur Center has touched many a businessperson, young and mature alike, in a very positive fashion and certainly benefitted our wonderful city in several ways,” Armistead said.
“Our annual award-winners are thanked, praised and celebrated for their contributions, both tangible and intangible, without the expectation of reward to the betterment of Nashville during the previous year.”
The luncheon is set for 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Patron Club at Bridgestone Arena, 501 Broadway, Nashville.
