The Social Enterprise Alliance National Summit is headed to Music City in April, and conference organizers are offering do-good entrepreneurs the chance to compete for a slot in a Nashville Entrepreneur Center accelerator program.

Dubbed the “Business for Good” competition, teams or solo entrepreneurs can apply now to pitch their ideas at the national conference to a room of leading entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers.

From the pool of online submissions (due Feb. 21), up to 10 concepts will be passed through to a second round of judging. Out of those 10, three will be chosen as finalists and will give seven- to 10-minute pitches to the audience at the mid-April conference. According to a release, up to $50,000 in prizes will be awarded, including seed funding, website/branding services and admission to the Entrepreneur Center’s social enterprise accelerator cohort.
