“We have learned so much over the last 17 months, particularly within health and healthcare delivery models,” said Eric Thrailkill, Chairman of Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s Project Healthcare. “The pandemic required the industry to rapidly adopt new models of care including telehealth, virtual care and digital health offerings. We now have an opportunity to innovate – to expand outside the confines of yesterday and integrate these solutions within certain care delivery processes. The pandemic pushed us to think creatively, strategically, and boldly.”

The Telehealth Academy is designed for healthcare providers specifically looking to develop a roadmap and better integrate telehealth and virtual care into their care delivery strategies. It’s structured around weekly virtual sessions over the course of eight weeks, with opening and closing sessions offered both in-person and virtually. Every week the program will introduce expert faculty from within healthcare who will cover a variety of topics including telehealth technology, financial models, the regulatory environment, and more.

“Telehealth and virtual care are here to stay,” according to Dan D’Orazio, CEO, Sage Growth Partners. “The Academy will allow healthcare professionals from across the country to hear from some of the industry’s greatest minds as they continue to innovate and address regulatory impacts, technology strategies, and integrating telehealth and virtual care into existing services – without increasing clinician burden and building on the satisfaction of patients and consumers.”

At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to participate with industry experts to develop a three-year vision and one-year implementation plan for their own organizations.
