Austin Dirks
Austin Dirks, founder and CEO of Greenlight Medical, came to the EC as a Harvard graduate who wanted to continue his education and grow his business, a cloud-based software that helps hospitals regulate the procurement of new medical technology. Austin started at the EC as a solo founder in the 2017 cohort of Project Healthcare, and now has over 15 employees and more than $1 million in revenue.
Jason Moore
Jason Moore founded Stratasan in 2010 to change the way hospitals and health systems use data to achieve strategic outcomes. Stratasan is around $10M is revenue and has over 40 employees. Moore is an amazing and engaged supporter of the EC community and has achieved great success in the entrepreneurial community. Stratasan came through the EC in 2010 in our first cohort of companies.
Channing Moreland and McKenzie Stokel
Channing Moreland and McKenzie Stokel went through Project Music in 2015 when they were still full-time students at Belmont University with a dream of creating EVA, a booking platform that helps event organizers easily book reliable and vetted artists and bands. EVA has been growing steadily ever since, and they’ve had six figures in annual revenue over the last few years. Their client list includes ESPN, BMW, Dell, and SmileDirectClub, and they are quickly expanding to cities across the US.
Marcus Cobb
Chicago native and Jammber founder Marcus Cobb joined Project Music in 2015, with the idea to create a “LinkedIn for musicians,” but with the help of the NEC’s industry network, he pivoted to create a better way for music creatives to track credits and get paid. Ultimately, Jammber was able to use the support of the EC’s extensive connections in the music industry to help develop into the successful company that it is today, with over 600 clients and millions of dollars raised.
Shani Dowell
Drawing on her own experience as a mother of two working in the education system, Shani’s idea for Possip was born in 2016: A platform that facilitates feedback and information-sharing between parents and schools via a routine text message survey in over 50 languages. Leveraging the support she received in PreFlight and InFlight, Shani exceeded $1 million in funding for Possip in less than 3 years, has more than 50,000 users across 16 states, and was recently granted funding from Google for Startups inaugural Black Founders Fund.
Mitesh Rao
OMNY founder Mitesh Rao, joined Project Healthcare’s 2019 cohort from San Francisco when he realized he needed a partner to support and grow his team as they built a secure healthcare data-sharing platform that allows its members to break down exchange information in near real-time. What he got was world-class curriculum and mentorship on everything from fundraising to hiring, as well as connections to some of Nashville’s top healthcare investors.
