Bruce Brandes has 30 years of experience in executive management and entrepreneurial thought leadership to build growth stage technology-based businesses in the healthcare industry. He currently serves as SVP, Health System Innovation at Teladoc Health.
Most recently, Bruce worked to simplify, accelerate and scale health system adoption of digital solutions as Executive in Residence at AVIA, founder & CEO of Lucro and managing director of Martin Ventures.
Previously, Bruce supported the industry’s transition to value-based care as EVP of Growth & Innovation at Valence Health (sold to Evolent), As Chief Strategy Officer with Sequoia Capital-backed AirStrip, he helped pioneer the introduction and widespread adoption of mobility in healthcare around the introduction of the iPhone. In the 1990s, Bruce helped lead the healthcare industry’s migration from paper to electronic medical records at Eclipsys (sold to Allscripts) and began his career in sales & marketing with IBM.
A career-long member of ACHE, Mr. Brandes holds degrees in finance from University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business and an MBA from Loyola University. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors at several innovative companies and mentors future leaders as Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Florida’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
