Christopher has been a leader of healthcare innovation and transformation in both the private
sector and military for more than 25 years. He joined HCA Healthcare in 2014, and established the
Telehealth Service Line. In this role he is responsible for the enterprise strategy and operations of
telehealth programs distributed across more than 30 states.

Prior to joining HCA, Christopher led Humana’s Clinical Innovations Division, where his team
focused on the strategic development and operations of clinical decision support solutions, emerging
models of care and telehealth programs. Prior to that he served on Active Duty as an Army Medical
Service Corps Officer. He served as the Director of the Army’s Operational Telemedicine Programs while
at the Army’s Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC). In this role, he was
responsible for the operational leadership of telemedicine programs deployed in support of Department
of Defense and Coalition Forces deployed worldwide. Among his other assignments he served in the
82 nd Airborne Division, the 3 rd Infantry Division, and on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. He continues to
serve in the Army Reserve as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Army Reserve Medical Command
(ARMEDCOM) focused on ensuring the training and readiness of Army Reserve medical personnel and
units in the delivery of Health Service Support & Force Health Protection Operations.

Christopher holds a B.A. from the University of Kentucky, an M.S. in Applied Information
Technology from Bellarmine University, and is a Graduate of the United States Army Command and
General Staff College (CGSC). He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the American
Telemedicine Association (ATA), and was the Committee Chair for the establishment of ATA Action, the
ATA’s affiliated trade organization focused on expanded advocacy at the federal and state levels. He
currently serves on the Board of Directors for REBOOT Recovery, who has a mission to assist Veterans
recover from PTSD related to trauma and their experiences in combat. Additionally, he serves on the
Board of Advisors for multiple Early-stage and Venture-Funded companies. Christopher and his wife,
Lindsay, live in Nashville, TN with their four children, Isabelle, Sam, Kate and William.
