Ryan Donnelly is a healthcare executive with nearly 15 years of experience focused on services and payer/provider HCIT. He has a strong growth, strategy and product focus, with extensive private equity and public policy expertise. Donnelly is head of strategy and innovation at Premise Health, the world’s leading direct healthcare company and one of the largest digital providers in the country, serving over 11 million eligible lives across the largest commercial and municipal employers in the U.S. Premise operates more than 800 wellness centers in 45 states and Guam, and provides virtual care nationwide.
In addition to leading strategy and innovation, Donnelly built and runs Premise’s value-based care product suite, Connected Care+, which is focused on reducing costs and improving outcomes for commercial populations. He also shares responsibility for key enterprise partnerships as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Premise Health, Donnelly was a principal at Kingfish Group, a private equity investment and strategy consulting firm in San Francisco, where he led all healthcare investing, consulting and industry research initiatives. Prior to Kingfish Group, Donnelly was a healthcare investment banker for Citigroup in New York. Earlier in his career, Donnelly worked at the Botswana International Financial Services Center, and the U.S. Senate. In addition, he is an alumnus of the Nashville Health Care Council Fellows and Coro Fellows programs.
Donnelly earned a M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.A. from Providence College, where he was class president and played Division 1 lacrosse. He is currently pursuing a M.S. in Global Healthcare at the University of Oxford. He lives in Nashville, TN with his wife, Pippa, daughter, Adelaide, and French Bulldog, Clementine.
