NASHVILLE, Tenn. (NOVEMBER 5, 2021) As our Nation honors our military service members and veterans on Veterans Day, two Nashville entrepreneurs and business partners will appear LIVE on “America’s Big Deal!” November 11, 8 pm CST – 9 pm. EST on the USA Network. 

Amy Cotta from Franklin, TN, and her business partner, SFC (RET) Joseph James of Hendersonville, TN, have been selected to appear on this groundbreaking series that invites entrepreneurs from across the country to sell their ready-to-ship products on-air in real-time to live home viewers at 9/8c. The person with the highest dollar sales during the episode’s buying window will win the chance to strike a life-changing deal with one of the show’s retail giants: QVC & HSN, Lowe’s, and Macy’s. ABOUT SFC (RET) JOSEPH JAMES 

During his service, U.S. Army Sergeant SFC James deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom once and Operation Iraqi Freedom three times. SFC James’ extensive list of awards includes the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, the Meritorious Service Medal, four Army Commendation Medals, three Good Conduct Medals, the Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (numeral 2), two Overseas Service Ribbons, the Air Assault Badge, and the Combat Action Badge. On April 8, 2008, SFC James’ Humvee was struck simultaneously by two improvised explosive devices (IEDs). SFC James lost both of his legs in that blast along with his commander, MAJ Rosenburgh.
